inspired by Shaimaa :)

i was, as all srk fans, waiting for MNIK since it was announced,
following news of the shooting, all of that…
of course, as there are no cinema halls in my country, we have to go at least to Bahrain,
but that was not a problem,
anyway, when release date was set to be 12 Feb I was very excited, since we had a holiday for that week which meant I could watch the movies several times,
then fox messed up the release and delayed it until 18 feb :(
it disappointed us all,
so we had only one time to watch MNIK,
besides, the mess with SS happened, the movie released, and I started to read some non-spoiling reviews,
most were fine, some grudging & some downright silly as usual,
others were talking about flaws, 2nd half, length, issues etc… despite excellent BO news,
and since my expectations of Karan, SRK and Kajol were very high, I began to worry,
so tried to lower them, high expectations usually lead to disappointments, and
I would be happy with any good srk movie directed by karan and with kajol in it,
In Bahrain, the movie had excellent promotion: huge posters, prominent next attraction position, trailer shown with regular Hollywood movies,
We were the first to book the earliest show, 10.30 am,
Thursday arrived, we went to movie, 2 bollywood addicts and 3 who watch occasionally, complaining always about the length no matter how good the movie is, except for CDI,
We watched the film, nearly 3 hours without intermission, finaly in the end,
My non-bollywood fan sister said to me: I did not want it to end!!!
The other non-fan said: srk is one of the finest actors I have seen,
As for me, I was blown away,
Simply put, MNIK has surpassed my earlier high expectation,
Cinematography, score, music
Direction: Karan Johar has surpassed himself, brilliant :)
Acting:
Kajol :amazing,
SRK: no words can describe his performance, best performance to date!!
Story: Shibani Bathija, what to say? Simply thanks more brilliance
In short, MNIK has touched us all, not just as a movie, but as an experience,
So, I want to say thank you to everyone who worked on MNIK,
Thank you so much,
