SRK's amazing stunt work in Anjaam

I just watched Anjaam again today and was once again totally amazed at the stunt work Shahrukh did in the song Badi Mustikil Hai.

He's done some other amazing stunts before that we've seen in movies or heard directors talk about him doing. But in my opinion nothing stands out quite like his sliding, moving and dancing around the top, hood and back into the interior of what is clearly a really moving 30 or more KPH car on a busy road filled with other cars. If you haven't seen this scene before be sure to check it out! It's the type of stunt work without any safety devises seen anywhere that no star in Hollywood would ever do, and probably very few professional stunt men either.

Hey, I also just watched Anjaam today... :D

Actually, this was my third time seeing it, and I agree with what you say about this scene, I have always noticed it. I have been thinking, this surely isn't particularly less dangerous than dancing on top of a train.... But of course I can understand why this scene is not AS famous as the whole Chaiyya Chaiyya song. He has also sang on top of a moving bus (at least in VZ) so maybe he has specialised in dancing and singing on top of moving vehicles :)

I recall reading several times that SRK wanted to dance on top of the train's chimney on this moving train in Dil Se but that the director told him no, it was too dangerous.

Also amazing to me is the time he hangs outside of a helicopter and is moving from the inside to standing on the rim of it while it's up high in the air and only holds on with one hand which he switches. You can see the helicopter is up high and operating and it's not a special effect. It's in one of the songs...I think that's in Ram Jaane but I'm not certain right now if that is the right movie.

Yes, it's Ram Jaane, and yes, that's another shot that always amazes me. It's so brilliant. Sometimes it scares me a bit the crazy things he has done, but considering that so far he has survived them all, we can certainly admire the view we are offered...

The movie is.....different. I happen to like it a lot - but I'm not exactly the most 'normal' person around :D You should definitely see it, at least once.

Then there's the motorbike in the song in Deewana....isn't it the first time ever he appeared on the screen? He's doing some dangerously-looking things on that bike.
Each time I watch his stunts I keep thinking he must have loved shooting them.

He is a little nuts, hai na? Is this part of what draws us to him?? We are just a little crazy too? He is a risk taker, and we love him for it. Negative roles that no one else wanted? We love him there too!

Since I posted this two months ago I have done caps for this sequence in Anjaam so here are some of those that show some of his amazing positions on the cab

I watched Anjaam last saturday and I was eagerly waiting to see the song Badi Mushkil Hai, its my favourite song from the movie (its my only favourite :D )
And I was just so scared while he was dancing on top of that moving car, I was worried in case he fell and at the same time I was thinking, he isnt going to fall you idiot, this movie was shot ages ago and this scene was perfected and put into the movie, its not as if he's doing it live!
I loved it so much :D
