    SRK back on his feet
    Mumbai Mirror | Feb 4, 2014, 12.00 AM IST
Ten days after an unhinged door came crashing and packed him off to a hospital, the indomitable Shah Rukh Khan resumes work today in Chembur for Farah Khan's Happy New Year.

Mirror has learnt that there will be no heavy-duty action or dance sequence and some of the shots have been modified keeping SRK's fragile condition in mind.

The accident which happened on the sets of the same film, left the actor with a fractured shoulder and a torn left knee tendon. The doctor had advised him complete bed rest for a couple of weeks, but SRK has been hobbling around with a cast on his leg and a crutch manacled to his hand. He was last spotted at Ahaana Deol's wedding having a long conversation with the bride's mother Hema Malini.

Thank you for sharing Marlies :)

Shahrukh's dedication towards his work will always amaze me.
He's a bundle of energy, that's for sure.

But I also wish he would also follow his doctor's advice to take some rest
and not forget to take care of his health.
    Mara and mumbiene thank this.

Shahrukh Khan resumes work for Happy New Year!

The baadshah of B-town has returned on the sets of Farah Khan’s next directorial venture
It was earlier reported that Farah Khan began the next schedule of Happy New Year (HNY) yesterday (January 3), without her main lead Shahrukh Khan, who was seriously injured during the film’s shoot last month. For those of you who don’t know, a major accident had taken place on the sets, which left SRK with a fractured shoulder and a busted left knee.

However, now we hear that the King Khan is back on his feet and has resumed work today (January 4) for HNY, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.

Reportedly, there will be no high octane action scenes and dance sequences in this schedule of the film. That’s not all, apparently, some of the shots have also been modified keeping in mind Shahrukh‘s condition.

Anyway, it’s good that the Chennai Express actor has resumed the work and we just hope that he completes the film without any more injuries.

starstar, mumbiene and Xeny thank this.
