    Finally, a great media review.:thumb:

    Quite awesome:

Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra,Isha Koppikar, Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal, Om Puri, Kareena Kapoor
    Director: Farhan Akhtar
    Music: Shankar Ehsaan Loy

If you go to see this film with very high expectations, you’ll be thoroughly satisfied. If you go to see it without high expectations, you’ll be thrilled. And if you don’t go to see the film at all, you will be missing one of the best things that could have happened to you this year.
Shah Rukh Khan plays Don - a cool, smart underworld leader dealing in drugs. Ramesh is a member of his gang who wants to return to a good, honest life, but he is murdered by Don. His fiancée Kamini and sister Roma (Kareena and Priyanka respectively) are out to avenge his death; Kamini herself gets brutally murdered in the process.
On the other side of the story, DCP de Silva (Boman Irani) and Mr Malik (Om Puri) are on a mission to capture Don and his accomplices.
DCP de Silva hatches an elaborate plan to achieve his mission: a plan involving Vijay - a simple uneducated youth who is addicted to paan, makes his living singing on the streets, and looks exactly like Don.
On yet another side, there is Jasjit who had been hired by Don to steal diamonds, was arrested by de Silva and lost his wife forever according to the bargain. He blames de Silva for his wife’s death and wants revenge.
The plot is intricately woven, without a single so-typical-of-Bollywood-films’ loose ends. The music is superb, the direction and cinematography marvellous.
The film is packed full of surprises, but the biggest - and the best - comes at the end. As for the performances of the stars, no adjective can do them justice. Shah Rukh looks awesome as Don - an appearance that has no doubt been inspired by the appearances of Tom Cruise and Keanu Reeves (the latter in the Matrix series). SRK steps out of his lover-boy image - there is none of the trembling lips or watery eyes in Don- to give a power-packed performance.
Even comparisons with Amitabh Bachhan’s Don can’t make this film any less a must-see. It is actually so good that it makes you want to grab the next person you see and say “Have you watched it yet?” and exclaim in disbelief if they say no.
    What are you waiting for?
