OMG. What do you write here. Do you look films or do you analyze. Film critics are not so bad as you. Normaly, it's absolutly uninteresting, if prateek have a MJ poster or not. You don´t understand. His father will show him, that he is a cool father. That is why MJ is on the wall. SRK likes MJ and can dance how MJ. Can you tell me how he can do it with Akon`s poster.
If you don't like this film. It is okay. It's your own decide. And it's also okay, if you criticize.
But please, stay on the carpet. Don't criticize so really little details. About Action, Stunts, Musik, the right Actors, the story, ok. But not about a Fly on the wall

Yeah, I'm as "bad" as Michael Jackson.
Even I was mad on some film critics, but after seeing the movie I realised the reviewers were partially right:(
If the MJ scene was the only one bad detail in the movie I wouldn't complain.Sadly, there were more. And who knows, if these little details were okay the film would be better too?
I thought Akon's poster would be funny because he was actually involved in movie.

Maybe you went with the wrong expectations in the film. Then you are often disappointed. Action and fantasy are not so for everyone.
Of course, the film has a few weaknesses. They do not care. Still, I was thrilled.
I look at it to me in any case many times. when I got the DVD.
I hope that he comes across on TV as well as in the cinema.

My children want to watch this film everyday. I like everything about this film, except for the moment when the Chinese lady gets killed. That is too violent for me. I skip that part & don't want my kids to see it.

Some of my most favorite scenes are: the opening scene with Shah Rukh Khan as a hero in a video game (he is INCREDIBLY handsome here); Shah Rukh Khan dancing like Michael Jackon; when G.One lands on the car that Prateek and Sonia are in and they are just looking at each other - and then Prateek reaches out and touches G.One's face; the big fight that G.One and Ra.One have with all the cars flying - and then G.One gets Ra.One by blasting the tank - and then G.One catches Ra.One's H.A.R.T.; Ra.One changing into the image of Arjun Rampal; When G.One tries to disguise his metal at the airport by dressing all funky - it was fun to see how silly he looked (I didn't like the part with the man waving a metal detection wand, though); The fight scene that breaks out in a parking lot - when Prateek and Sonia tell G.One "No Touching"; I like all the scenes at their home in India; I love the train scene; I like the final fight scene with G.One & Ra.One and Prateek; and I'm glad it ended with G.One coming back to life.

I loved the music and dance. I loved the cool technology shown in the film - especially the moments when Ra.One was transfiguring himself (the little cubes getting into the right shape) -- also the time when both Ra.One and G.One made guns come out from their hands during the final fight scene. I loved Shakhar's character traits: how he was accident prone and how he did wierd things like eating noodles and curds - I thought all that was adorable (I've lived with a roommate like that, and I never thought it was irritating, I just adored her); I thought that Armaan Verma was perfect in his role as Prateek. And I loved Kareena Kapoor in her role as Sonia. She is VERY talented and very beautiful. I also like Arjun Rampal. I think he is a good actor. I thought the whole story was extremely creative and well-crafted. I liked the good message the film gave - in regards to good vs. evil and how important it is to have a H.A.R.T. This film clearly has all the elements to capture a child's imagination. My 9 year old son, who is in to video games completely LOVES this film. And my 4 year old daughter is also completely fascinated with this film. I have two teen-age children who also love this film. And I love this film. I think it is a great film for people of all ages. I give this film a BIG "thumbs up!" and a 10/10!!!

I agree about the Chinese ladies' death. It didn't fit and was a bit too horrifying.
I don't know a lot about India, but some have said that the way Shekhar behaved was derogatory to an ethnic group in India. I don't know if it is the same, but it makes me think of how people from the rural south or east coast (like West Virginia) are sometimes made fun of in the US. It is pretty harmless and everyone takes it as a joke. I thought that if it was derogatory, it was mitigated completely by the sweet, kind and good nature of Shekhar. Everyone loved him.
I didn't like the song "Criminal- I don't appreciate the scanty clothing or suggestive dance style exibited there. It's something I could do without in many Hindi films.
I liked everything you liked, Jasmine. (as usual!) on balance the good far outweighed the bad.
    Wafa and Jasmine thank this.

Yes, the Criminal song...I almost said something about it, and then I didn't. My 9 year old son turns away and doesn't watch that song. The shaking of the "bootie" makes me uncomfortable. But, I do recognize and appreciate the talent of the dancers. I've been heavily involved in dance in my life. So, I look at the choreography and the technique and I have insight into all the work that goes into doing a dance number. What they do is not easy and I am impressed with their talent.

I think the image that Hindi Cinema projects with women scantily dressed does not reflect the general population of India. I haven't been to India, though. I've only read about it. Just on a side note, and I hope it is okay to say this - I think it is interesting to think about the different affect suggestive clothing has from the vantage point of boys vs. the vantage point of girls. Girls might look at another beautiful girl, who is scantily dressed and just admire the artistry and aesthetic beauty of that girl. Boys are wired so differently! For a boy to see suggestively dressed girl triggers an involuntary response in a boy that is difficult for them to stop. For those in the world who prefer their sons, brothers, and husbands to be faithful to their wives - even down to their thoughts (no porn) - there are ways to help protect the men. And that is for the girls to dress modestly. My husband and my son don't want to have any problems with this, so they choose not to look at immodest girls.

Yes I should clarify: the song is fine: very catchy tune. It was just some of the the dance moves and costumes I didn't like in the video.

Just got done watching this with four grandkids who are visiting! So fun. I did not realize how tense some scenes were for them. But, we made it through and they liked the end. Lot's of questions because of limited English. Ra.one was scary and G.one was good for them.

fun to see it through new eyes!

It's a nice "kid movie". Wonderful effects, good songs, always great performance of SRK, but nothing more I'm afraid. Absolutely not his masterpiece. Vote: 6 out of 10.

Yes it is so fun to watch with the grandkids. The first time we saw it at the theater, my 6 years old grandson, hid his face in my chest when Ra. One started to come out of the game. He was sitting on my lap for me to help him with subtitles. My four year old granddaughter love it too. SRK made a movie for the young ones and the young at heart. Something rare for Bollywood, especially one made so well. I love it too.

Ok here I'm back home after a loooong stressful Day. But the Evening was great :D I was in Potsdam. Thats a Town btween my little Hometown and Berlin. NAd Today i was there in the Filmmuseum here they had a Bollywood Film Night. And they showed guess what? Ra.Oneeeee Yeah. Ra.One again on big Screen was great. And G.One is awwww my Superhero  Can't get enough of it. Today i noticed something. Can it be that the Security Guy on the Airport which is scaning G.One is gay? Lol i have seen the Film now a few times and never noticed it. Well how often you see a Shah Rukh Film you always find Something new. Ra.One is a great Film. The Action, The VFX, Music all just great. Again i have cried like Hell during Bhere Naina. God i hate that Scene. And i laught like hell during the Scene at the Airport. And Boy the "Power Yoga" Scene the whole Audience was laughting. :pound: Power Yoga  God the Film has realley Anything. it was great Today. They had the Film, before it Starts a Moderator told us about the program on the Evening. In the Lobby they had a Buffet with Indian Snacks. Unfortunalty we had to pay them and after i paid my Ticket i had no Cash anymore. :( So no Snacks for me. But in the Break We had a liitle Show. A Dance Troup was dancing for us. The 4 Girls was really good. They Danced to a Version of Vande Materam and Haule Haule and a 3rd Song i do not know. But they made it really good. And they was wearing beautifull Lengha Cholis. And then after the Film was over no wanted to leave. I nearly started to Thing in the next Moment the Moderator would come and say We have a little Suprise for you and a Door would open and Shah Rukh would come in :pound: but no Moderator and no Shah Rukh. I Thing the others liked the Film. That made me really proud. Its really a fantastic Film. I also have always to cry during the Scne when Pratee and G:eek:ne are Sitting on the Top of Shekars House. And Prateel looks up and say " You are a Dude Dad" I always think Oh Prateek your Dad is not only a Dude he is a Hero your Dad. He brought the Biggest Sacrify someone could bring. He scarified his Life to protect yours. And you do not even know it .God that is such a emotional Scene. And i have to say i'm glad that G.One and Prateek kicked Ra.One in his Big feat A... :tape: :boxing:
Its always a Pleasure to Watch Then Film on Big Screen. And I'm very Thankfully to Shah Rukh and Mr Sinah and the whole Team that they gifted us that great Film. :nod.
