SRK-Kajol fans are in for a special treat as Rohit Shetty is all set to reprise that iconic train scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in his next- Dilwale...

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are currently camping in Sofia, Bulgaria for Rohit Shetty's Dilwale and the first look pictures of the evergreen Bollywood jodi has gone viral on the net. Not just that, Kajol and SRK look amazing together as pictures from the sets have been doing the rounds. But there's some interesting news for you all!

Rohit has a master plan up his sleeve. The filmmaker is all set to shoot a romantic sequence for Dilwale fetauring Kajol and SRK, much on the lines of DDLJ's iconic train scene. The film released in 1995 but memories are still fresh in all our minds. Most Indians would also agree that it's one of the most loved and remembered scenes in Bollywood till date.

While Rohit has already tried to pay tribute to DDLJ in his own inimitable style in Chennai Express. Remember how Rahul and Meenamma met at the station in CE? That was a comic scene, that poked fun as well as paid homage to DDLJ. But for Dilwale, it will be a different story. Our sources tell us, "Rohit is currently shooting in different locations in Sofia, Bulgaria. He and his team is recreating the famous scene at the Lion's Bridge area. But there is one difference- it won't be a train this time. It will be a tram sequence."

Yes, that's right! Despite his knee injury, SRK has refused to use a body double for the shot and the particular scene will have him running on to a tram and then offering his hand to ladylove Kajol. We simply can't wait for the DDLJ to recreate the magic of that scene, one more time!

I hope not. It won't have the same effect since it's been done before and they're much older now.

tasifa which means Blue Eyes in Thai.

What would be cute is if the roles were reversed! Shahrukh running with a slight limp to catch the tram and Kajol holding her hand?
    Mara says thanks.

I'm so over the referencing of srk' films in His recent works. Now this would be Rohit Shetty's referencing both srk's and his own film, CE.
    Rishima62 and Debbie thank this.
