Ash, SRK in showcase on 2010 Commonwealth Games at Melbourne Ash, SRK in showcase on 2010 Commonwealth Games at Melbourne New Delhi: Former Miss World Aishwarya Roy and Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan will be among prominent Indian artistes who will help showcase the 2010 Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi at the 2006 Commonwealth Games at Melbourne. Also to be featured in the presentation of the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games, at the closing ceremony of the 2006 Commonwealth Games, will be the theme song of the 2010 Games, which has lyrics by famous writer Gulzar. The eleven-minute presentation will showcase the heritage and culture of Delhi, the Mascot and theme song of Commonwealth Games 2010, it was revealed today in a meeting on cultural component of the Games, presided over by Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. The theme song "Dilli Chalein, Chalna hai, chal chal, chalna hai" is composed by Shanker, Ehsan and Loy. The song is sung by five eminent playback singers. The colourful show, to be presented at Melbourne, would be viewed by a television audience of two billion. The programme would end with an assurance to meet at Delhi in 2010. The show is being given final touches by Wizcraft. The Chief Minister has directed concerned artistes to prepare the show with utmost attention. The meeting was attended by Delhi Urban Development Minister A K Walia, President of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) Suresh Kalmadi, Secretary Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Delhi Chief Secretary and other senior officers, Gulzar and other eminent personalities.
